Our industry-focused 3D printed ceramic screw project was discussed with Lindsay McDougall, ABC Radio Illawarra

David Chuter, managing Director at Innovative Manufacturing CRC (IMCRC), discussed our industry-focused project on the development of 3D printed ceramic screws and kangaroo tendon xenografts with Lindsay McDougall, host of Drive, ABC Radio Illawarra on 23 February 2021. The project is in collaboration with Bone Ligament Tendon (BLT) Pty Ltd, Allegra Orthopaedics Ltd, and the Innovative Manufacturing CRC Limited (IMCRC) developing the next generation of interference screws additively manufactured from our patented bioceramic material. This novel interference screw combined with the kangaroo tendon xenograft will address the clinical problems associated with existing treatment options for damaged ligaments in human population.  Link
