Welcome Honorary Malcolm Turnbull The ARC Training Centre for Innovative Bio-Engineering had the unique opportunity to welcome a visit with our Former Prime Minister, Malcom Turnbull, on 30/11/2020. He reviewed the cutting-edge projects of the Training Centre with presentations provided by PhD students and Postdoctoral Researchers of the Centre. He expressed great interest in these projects and provided guidance for accessing funding and expanding networks with sources of venture capital for translation of these discoveries into approved products.
The University of Sydney launched the Australian Research Council (ARC) Training Centre for Innovative BioEngineering on 31 May 2018. The Centre is funded by the ARC, the NSW Department of Industry, Australian universities and both domestic and international industry partners to fulfil an unmet need for improved musculoskeletal therapies.
